From BPD News:

At about 7:40PM, on Sunday, January 15, 2023, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown), responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 141 Tremont Street in Boston.

Upon arrival, and after speaking to the victim, officers were made aware that the suspect(s) fled on foot towards Temple Place. Boston EMS transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

While still on scene, officers received information from Boston Police 911 dispatchers, that a group of teenagers were seen running from the scene and one of them was in possession of a knife.

Officers searched the area and located two juvenile males who had just boarded an MBTA bus near Tremont Street and Avery Street.

After further investigation and reviewing surveillance footage, officers recovered a folding knife and arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile and a 13-year-old male juvenile, both of Boston.

Both juveniles will be charged with Delinquent to Wit; Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Delinquent to Wit; Joint Venture. They are expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
