If you saw all the BPD, BFD and EMS racing to the Broadway Bridge on Wednesday morning, it was because to men fell off the bridge and into the water.
Police, firefighters and EMS rescued the two men from the Fort Point Channel around 11am. Evidently, they were celebrating the Christmas season hard and the two men appeared visibly intoxicated. Firefighters provided ladders for them to climb up to safety. They were unharmed but very wet. According to someone in the know, “homeless people hang out in this area and often end up in the water.”
