Two Juveniles Arrested for Seaport Snowport B+E
At 1:49 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) arrested a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old male for multiple offenses following a 911 call reporting a breaking and entering in progress.
In response to a report of stolen money from a breaking and entering incident the previous night at the Snowport Holiday Market, Officers were patrolling the area when they observed two individuals in dark clothing walking through the public area known as Seaport Common, heading toward Northern Avenue. Officers repositioned their vehicle to maintain observation but believed the individuals had fled through a hole in a fence into the Snowport Holiday Market. Moments later, the two suspects were stopped by private security at the Holiday Market and subsequently detained by Officers after a 911 call for assistance was made.
District C-6 Detectives responded to the scene and, in collaboration with Officers, conducted a thorough investigation. This investigation linked the two juveniles to the previous night’s incident and led to the recovery of a significant amount of U.S. currency in their possession.
Both juveniles were arrested and are expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court on the following charges:
- Trespassing
- Breaking and Entering a Building at Night for a Felony
- Receiving Stolen Property
- Larceny from a Building
