Traffic Advisory – MassPike near Ted Williams Tunnel Due to Car Fire
Wondering what all the helicopters flying over the neighborhood are for? Well, there was a car crash inside the Ted Williams Tunnel on Friday afternoon.
According to WCVB, BFD and BPD are on the scene responding to a car fire inside the tunnel connecting Interstate 93 northbound with the Mass Pike eastbound, just before the Ted Williams Tunnel. You can check out the video here.
This could affect traffic all over the area, so be advised. Plan accordingly.
Plus, we are hearing that it may be a hybrid car, which is very tricky for firefighters to put out. So this could take a while, people!
