You can learn about the history, harbor vessels, birds, and more via these new signs. A little walking tour of education!
The signs include:
Habor Vessels – What do you See
Back in 2021, Friends of the Boston Harborwalk received a CPA grant for the design, manufacture, and installation of the signs.
The perfect excuse to take a walk around Castle Island to check them out!

The signs are beautifully done. Someone should get a pat on the back for their good work!
The Harbor of Shame headline is terrible! Our harbor was polluted like all old ports. That “Shame” bit was a Republican talking point when Bush used it to defeat Dukakis.
Or to take away from this to improve castle island but really $75 k for 8 signs I don’t see why so much for this your tax dollars hard at work. And when they’ll vandalized how much to replace them
