Street Hockey Rink Dedication to Jack O’Brien + tournament kickoff

On Saturday, August 15th at 10am, the new street hockey rink at Moakley Park will be dedicated to Jack O’Brien – Southie resident and retired owner of JF O’Brien & Sons funeral home, and steadfast support of all youth sports programs South Boston in addition to many Southie non-profit organizations.
The Boston Dangle Fest – Street Hockey Tournament will take place at the new John “Jack” O’Brien Street Hockey Court for kids ages 8-13. The event takes place from 8am-8pm at Moakley Park. Stop by and check it out!
Fittingly, Jack O’Brien and Joe Moakely were great friends.
