St. Patrick’s Day Parade has officially been canceled

We knew it was going to happen – but it’s a bummer nonetheless. According to a post on twitter from the South Boston Allied War Veterans Council – organizers of the St.Patrick’s Day Parade – the 2021 parade is now canceled.

Last year, on St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the parade was also canceled due to the newly announced COVID-19 pandemic. Bars and restaurants were also forced to close on Sunday after packed capacities on Saturday in an effort to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Here’s hoping 2022 is the year the parade will go on!
