Our prayers and love go out to the friends and family of Bill McGonagle. A South Boston resident, raised in the Mary Ellen McCormack housing development, who later went on to lead the Boston Housing Authority for over 40 years, died this week after a brief illness. Bill recently retired this past July.
He was an all around great guy who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be missed.
