Let’s hear it for Southie’s own Michael Callow, 18, recent St. Sebastian’s graduate has just been selected in the NHL draft. On Friday, he was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks, Round 5, 154th pick overall! Way to go!
The 6’4, 181 pound, forward is the son of Keith and Nancy (Woods) Callow.
We hear friends and family celebrated the news while watching the draft at L Street Tavern – owned by Michael’s aunt and uncle – Jackie and Susan Woods!
Back in 2020, Callow committed to pursue academics and playing hockey for Harvard University! He also recently played for the US National Under-18 Hockey Team.
