Shooting on Old Colony Ave. – Update:

Three men were arraigned on Monday in connection with the shooting death on Old Colony Ave. over the weekend.  Dwayne Diggs, of Randolph and Dondre Snow, of Dorchester, were held without bail after pleading not guilty to murder charges. Daquan Peters, of Boston, was held on $100,000 bail on gun and drug charges.

They were arrested Saturday night shortly after the shooting death of 38-year-old Maurice Scott.  No motive has been disclosed.

After the arraignment ended, a brawl broke out on the steps of the South Boston Court House on East Broadway.  According to “people in the know,” words were exchanged between the murder victim’s family and the suspects’ family and ended in a fist fight.  Boston police quickly broke up the fight.
