Sounds insane but it’s true
The story began circulating on Facebook on the South Boston Community Board.
The story sounded so bizarre and scary, it was hard to imagine that it was true. But apparently it is.
According to reports, on Wednesday, South Boston resident Bob Rowland was changing his tire on East Seventh Street when a light blue vehicle drove past him and threw a syringe out the car window with enough force that it stuck into his back. A Boston police officer was near by doing a traffic detail and instructed him to go to the emergency room. His wife took him to Tufts Medical and now he patiently awaits the test results.
As to whether this act was intentional or not, is being investigated by the Boston police. Let’s hope this is an isolated incident. More to follow.
