We’ve come a long way, baby!  After decades of controversy about allowing openly gay groups to march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the South Boston Allied War Veteran Council – the group that organizes the parade, has appointed Bryan Bishop – founder and CEO of OutVets and a Us Air Force Retiree – as the director of parade operation.  Back in November of 2017, the AWVC, voted for Southie resident and Army National Guard member – Dave Falvey as the new commander of the AWVC, ushering in a new era of leadership. We couldn’t be more proud of Falvey and the AWVC

    Well that turned around quickly. Outvets not allowed to march to Outvets running the entire event. Funny how the world works these days.
