Say goodbye to the Atlantic Beer Garden and Whiskey Priest
to be replaced with luxury condos
You have about a year left to enjoy a few drinks and apps at Atlantic Beer Garden and Whiskey Priest on the Southie Waterfront. According to the Boston Herald, the two watering holes will be replaced with a 22-story residential and retail glass tower. The tower will be shaped like a “billowing sail” and will feature 110 condos, 12,000 square feet of ground- and second-floor restaurant/retail space, a spacious deck and parking.
The project is estimated at $200 million and it is being developed by The Cronin Group.
The ABG and Whiskey Priest are slated to close in 2017.
