Redistricting Hearing at City Hall on Tuesday
Be informed. Get involved.
The Boston City Council will hold a Redistricting Public Hearing on Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00pm. This meeting is being held in the Iannella Chamber at City Hall.
What is redistricting?
Redistricting is in the process of drawing lines of districts from which our district councilors are elected in the City of Boston. The nine districts in the City are redrawn every ten years according to the latest census data. The goals of redistricting are to ensure that all nine of our districts reflect population changes and racial diversity. We want to hear from you, so attend a meeting, send an email or call our office. This process needs to be complete by the first week in November.
