Real Life Grinch Breaks Into Fresh Boston Overnight: Let’s Show them Some Love + Support
Well, this is upsetting. Talk about a real-life Grinch.
Fresh Boston, a favorite local spot, was burglarized last night. A thief, wearing a poncho and face mask, smashed through the glass front door, stole alcohol, and made off with the cash register. The owners are still assessing damages and missing items.
Boston Police have been called and are currently investigating the incident. The break-in has left the Fresh Boston team understandably shaken, not to mention the damage and stolen goods, especially during what should be a joyful and bustling holiday season for small businesses.
If you live in the area and saw, heard or have any camera footage of this guy, reach out to Fresh.
Here’s how we can help: Stop by Fresh Boston and grab a gift card or purchase one online. It’s a simple but meaningful way to show them some love and support as they work to clean up the mess. Let’s remind them why they chose Southie as their home—this community always looks out for its own.
Let’s keep Southie thriving, one small business at a time.

Pray they find the perpetrator!!
Damn, I’m sure the neighborhood will rally for them in true Southie fashion. On another note it would be nice if CIS would always list the addresses of those you are highlighting. Not all of those who subscribe live in SB so an address would help us find these businesses
aOh, my gosh!
This is awful, no matter what time of year it happens, but especially around the holiday times. Here’s hoping the police find the one(s) who committed the break-in and robbery, have the thieves tried and charged with their crimes in a a court of law, and end up going to the slammer for awhile. That is disgraceful.
