Hundreds of South Boston residents gathered together to rally in support of our local police on Friday afternoon in front of C-6 police station on West Broadway. Neighbors made signs of encouragement and gratitude to express their support for Boston and State police.
A candlelight vigil was also part of the public event pausing to remember Officer Rafael Ramos and Officer Wenjian Liu of the New York Police who were slain last week in the line of duty.
It was an amazing event and made us proud to be part of the great community of South Boston.
