Word to the wise, when you double park your car in front of a coffee shop, don’t leave it running.  One gentleman did exactly that late Monday morning in front of the Java House at 541 East Broadway.  After running into to pick up a quick cup o’ joe, he came out to find his car gone baby gone.  That’s no way to start your week!

The Java House is located next door to the South Boston District Court House.  We’re not detectives but we think maybe someone leaving the court house didn’t want to walk home in the rain so they “borrowed” a car. 

Boston police are investigating.
