Get involved. Public Safety Meeting on Monday, July 29th at 7pm at the Tynan School (650 East Fourth Street). Congressman Stephen Lynch, Senator Linda Dorcena Forry, Representative Nick Collins, Councilor Bill Linehan are hosting a meeting to discuss the recent tragedy of Amy Lord and two other attacks on South Boston women as well as other public safety issues affecting our community. Police officials from the Boston Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police and DEA, as well as officials from the Probation Department will be in attendance. We hope you will attend this very important meeting. Be informed. Get involved.

Just this morning a woman was assaulted across from the D Street Variety store – 8 am – tried to take her pocketbook. We need foot patrols here in Southie.
