According to a tweet from Captain Greland from the Boston police, C6, some Southie residents were hoping to have their own private peep show. 

On September 13th at approximately 5:21am, residents at 291 Dorchester Street hired a stripper to perform.  The stripper showed up, they paid her up front, she pulled out a knife and fled without stripping. Rip off!

We guess if you’re hiring a stripper a 5am, it was bound to end up that way.   Lesson learned.
