Plan Ahead: MBTA Shutdowns this Weekend including the Red Line

The MBTA has several shutdowns planned for this weekend, so if you’re taking the T, you’ll want to plan ahead.
The Red Line will be shut down between JFK/UMass and Ashmont, with additional Braintree Branch service available during the closure.
There are also some major Green Line disruptions. Service will be suspended between Government Center and Babcock Street on the B Branch, Government Center and Kenmore on the C Branch, North Station and Kenmore on the D Branch, and North Station and Heath Street on the E Branch.
And if you’re taking the Commuter Rail, there are disruptions there too.
Basically, give yourself some extra time this weekend. Good luck out there!
