A man sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Friday night at the corner of H and Broadway.
Due to the severity of injuries, the BPD homicide and fatal-accident units were called to the scene.

Rumor has it the guy hit was “the stomper” the homeless guy that terrorizes Broadway. Can anyone confirm that?
Wow, a local lyft driver told me of the Stomper. He stomps the heads of the sleeping homeless? Unreal. He’s always drunk and spewing nonsense.

He was on the #9 bus that night on the commute home from work and recall him stumbling off the bus at H & Broadway. When I heard of the accident later that night, he was the first one that came to mind because he was in pretty bad shape.
