On Thursday night around are 9pm, two teenage girls riding a moped collided with a truck on East Eighth Street near Mercer Street.  They both are suffering from life-threatening injuries and remain hospitalized. 

According to the BPD, the driver of the pickup remained at the scene and the crash investigations unit is continuing its investigation into the crash.

The victims are believed to be in their late teens.
