Missing Person Alert: Boston Police Seek Public’s Help Locating 71-Year-Old Justina Ayala of South Boston

The Boston Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 71-year-old Justina Ayala, who was last seen earlier this morning in the area of Preble Circle in South Boston.
Justina was last seen by family members on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at approximately 5:12 PM at her residence located at 76 West 7th Street in South Boston.
She is described as approximately 5’2” tall, weighing around 100 pounds. At the time she went missing, she may have been wearing a handkerchief with a 7-Eleven hat, a grey quarter-zip sweatshirt, black leggings, and pink sneakers with white soles that appeared dirty.
Justina suffers from dementia and is known to frequent several nearby locations, including:
- The rotary at Preble Circle
- The gas station on Old Colony Avenue
- The convenience store on D Street
- The Stop & Shop in the area of East Broadway
The Boston Police Department is actively searching for Justina and urges anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or District C-6 Detectives at (617) 343-4742.
