Winter is coming!

In preparation for the winter season, crews will be working on the MBTA’s Winter Resiliency Improvement Program.  Service suspension will begin on Saturday, October 31st and November 1st for the next four weekends.

The MBTA will suspend Red Line service this weekend, October 31 and November 1, between JFK/UMass and Quincy Center stations. On weekends in November, service will also be suspended November 7-8 between JFK/UMass and Park Street Stations, as well as November 14-15 and November 21-22 between JFK/UMass and Braintree Stations.

Fear not, you won’t be stranded, shuttle buses will replace the Red Line trains.  So there you go!

Service will resume like normal on Mondays.
