It’s going down for real!  After much pleading and local pols feeling our pain, the MBTA will now officially host a bus stop and bus route improvement meeting. All are encouraged to attend. See details below. Caught in Southie will be live tweeting, so make sure to follow us on twitter!

The MBTA will host a public meeting on Wednesday, October 26th at 6pm to present the 30 percent design plans for a South Boston Bus Stop for Routes 5, 7, 9, 10 and 11 and Service Improvements Project.  The goals for this effort include:
Enhance service reliability
Optimize bus stop locations and spacing for safety, efficiency, and minimal parking impacts
Improve bus stop accessibility for seniors and persons with disabilities

    I waited an hour this morning!!!!! An Hour!~!!!!! at L & Broadway ended up taking a cab again!
