Man who killed two doctors in South Boston sentenced to life
Bampumim Teixeira – the man convicted of murdering two doctors inside their South Boston condo – was sentenced to life in prison without parole on Friday. This past Tuesday, he was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and five other charges including home invasion, kidnapping, and armed robbery.
Dr. Richard Field and Dr. Lina Bolanos were stabbed to death inside their home on May 5, 2017. Teixeira learned his sentce via video conferencing system.
On Tuesday, Teixeira had to be dragged from the courtroom after outbursts directed at one of the victim’s families.
