Man struck and killed
on Old Colony Ave.
A 66-year-old man was struck and killed by a car on Tuesday night. State Police stated that the man was trying to cross the street and was hit by a car on Old Colony Avenue near Gavin Way at around 6:15 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The person driving the car stayed at the scene, police said. No charges have been filed but police are investigating.
