Love Boat Theme on Blast in South Boston- Did you hear it?

Out of the darkness, in the quiet of my home on M Street last night, I heard it. It stopped me in my tracks and caused me to shush my family members. Then I heard it again—the iconic TV theme from my childhood—the “Love Boat” theme.
For those of you under the age of 45, The Love Boat was a wildly popular sitcom on ABC that aired from 1977-1987 about the Pacific Princess, her crew, and passengers looking for love on the high seas. Some standout guest stars from that season include but not limited to, Charo, Loni Anderson, Scott Baio, Sonny Bono, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and Ruth Buzzi. (A quick google search for those of you who have no idea who any of these “stars” are or were.)
So you’re not crazy if you heard a familiar tune floating from the Flynn Cruiseport, Monday night. It was, in fact, the Love Boat theme coming from a Princess cruise ship heading out to sea.
You can here what it sounded like below:
Here’s the actual TV theme below:
