Dear Neighbors,

I have known Ed Flynn and his family for many years. Ed is a person I respect for his hard work and helping people throughout South Boston – whether it be as a youth sports coach, involved in the Gate of Heaven CYO basketball program for many years, or his community volunteer work assisting many charities and organizations. Ed is someone we admire for his 24 years of service in the US Navy and always advocating on behalf of our veterans and military families. Also, as a probation officer, we know that Ed is always there to help those dealing with substance abuse issues and trying to secure treatment for those in need. Ed is highly regarded in the court system for his compassion, dedication, and professionalism. Please join me on Tuesday, September 26th in voting for and supporting a good friend that will work hard and represent everyone throughout the district.

Sincerely,

Richie Linehan, South Boston.

Dear neighbor,

I Just want to inform you that Fred and I support Ed Flynn’s candidacy 100 percent to be our next Boston City Councilor. Ed is a gentleman and genuinely good person who has served his country, and he will serve the people of our district to the best of his ability. He has been active in our community, supporting various causes and youth sports for many years. He knows the issues that are important to families raising their children in our community. We hope you can join us in voting for Ed Flynn for Boston City Council on September 26th.

Thank you,

Peggy Rooney

Ed Flynn is the best choice for the District 2 City Councilor, because he has the experience and the temperament to represent all of District 2, including our home neighborhood of South Boston.

I’ve known Ed my whole life, and I’ve seen him evolve into the man he is today.  He is a dedicated father and husband, active member in his community, and role model for the kids he coaches and mentors.  One thing that sets Ed apart is that he takes every aspect of his life seriously — his family, his neighborhood, his military service, and his work helping people in the criminal justice system get their lives on the right track.

It’s this level of commitment that District 2 needs in their next City Councilor.  I know Ed will actively represent all residents in all communities in the district, and be a strong voice for those in need.  Why?  Because as Ed frequently says, “We are all in this together.”

I hope you will join me in supporting Ed Flynn on September 26 and November 7, because he will treat all residents with the attention and fairness they deserve.  Ed Flynn understands the issues that are impacting our communities, and he has the vision to get things done for Boston.

Dear Neighbor,

I am writing to express my support for Ed Flynn in the upcoming election for Boston City Council on September 26th. My family and I have witnessed Ed’s dedication to the people of South Boston for many years. He has served as a youth sports coach and mentor, helped those in need quietly, or volunteered his time to a number of charities and organizations. Ed loves the people of South Boston and his passion for helping others will serve him well as a Boston City Councilor. He has been there for his community for so many years, and now I hope you’ll join me and my family and friends in supporting Ed Flynn on Tuesday, September 26th.

Sincerely,

Dear Neighbors,

It is with enthusiasm that I endorse the candidacy of Ed Flynn as our City Councilor for District 2. I have known Ed and the Flynn family for many years. I have every confidence in his ability and experience as a father, community activist, veteran and probation officer that he can and will represent the critical interests of the district. He is ready to take on this important undertaking on our behalf. His attention, and willingness, to engage as a private citizen in the important issues facing the community- public safety, affordable housing and the many challenges facing our seniors are but a few of the issues that he has already proven to be a thoughtful and aggressive advocate for. I hope you will join me in supporting his candidacy. I look forward to casting my vote for Ed on September 26th and November 7th for District City Councilor.
Sincerely,
Bill McGonagle
