Participation in the census is critical as the data and population counts collected are used to calculate federal funding on things like transportation and infrastructure. “For every person not counted, nearly $2400 per year will be lost in federal funding for the next ten years – that’s roughly $24,000 per person lost for the next decade for each person not counted,” said State Rep. David Biele
Filling out the census takes less than ten minutes and can be done right here! Participation will help provide an accurate count so that our community and our city receive a fair share of federal funding.
