thoughts and prayers

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Kevin Dwyer.  Kevin was a lifelong resident of Southie who was actively involved in the community.  A former classroom teacher, Kevin worked for the Mass. Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education as the lead developer for the MCAS History and Social Science curriculum. He was the treasurer of South Boston Little League, coach of the 2012 champion Mariners, and past home-run hitter for M&T Oil.  He was married to his best friend Suzanne and the loving dad to two sons, Francis (16) and Declan (12).  He was also the son of Eileen and Lawrence Dwyer and brother to Larry, Mary Ellen (Sinkiewicz), Gerry,  Kathleen Ann, Dan and Brian.  He was a cherished and beloved friend to so many.

Kevin died suddenly at the age of 50.  He will be deeply missed by the entire community of South Boston and beyond.
