It’s an order: Wear a mask or cover your face

On Friday, Gov. Charlie Baker announced an executive order requiring all Massachusetts residents and essential workers to wear a mask or cover their face in public to help protect against the spread of COVID-19.
Residents and workers who can’t safely practice social distancing in public must wear a mask or face-covering. This begins on May 6th. The order does not apply to children under 2.
According to Baker, if you visit a park, go to the beach or are out walking or running, you should have a mask.
You could face a civil fine up to $300 for not wearing a mask/covering your face, though Baker said he’s leaving enforcement up to individual cities and towns.
So there you go.
