Edison Power Plant Development:
On Monday, July 24th from 6pm-8pm a meeting will be held to discuss the new 15.2 acre development at the old Edison power plant. The Boston Planning and Development Agency, along with local elected officials will be hosting the meeting at the Tynan School – 650 East Fourth Street. READ OUR RECAP HERE!
District 2 Candidate Forum:
The Boston Ward 4 Democratic Committee, Ellis South End Neighborhood Association, South End Forum, South End News, and Calderwood Pavilion will be hosting a candidate forum for the City Council District 2 race on Wednesday, July 26, at 6:30 PM at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts (527 Tremont Street). Sue O’Connell, the co-publisher of the South End News and Bay Windows and host of NECN’s The Take with Sue O’Connell, will be moderating. Kaboom Playground at the Curley Rec. Center
A special planning meeting will be held on Thursday, July 27th from 5pm-7pm at the Curley Recreation Center about a new playground to be built by Kaboom in partnership with Jet Blue! Come learn all the exciting details!

Join the MBTA and local elected officials for a public meeting to learn about the Red Line Test Track aka Track 61 and the $450 Million replacement of Red Line vehicles. The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 27th at 6:30pm at the Condon School – 200 D Street.
