Indoor Soccer + Beer? It Could Be Coming to Andrew Square in South Boston

There could soon be a new spot to grab a beer and play/watch some indoor soccer in Andrew Square.
According to Universal Hub, Unlmtd Soccer, located at the On the Dot development at 4 Alger Street, is looking to add a 100-seat bar area serving beer, wine, and stadium-style food. The company is seeking a beer and wine license that would cover the entire soccer facility, allowing spectators to enjoy a drink while watching a match.
The proposed food and beverage service would operate from 11am to 11pm, while indoor soccer could continue until midnight. The space could also be used for larger corporate events and functions.
The Boston Licensing Board is expected to consider the proposal, and no one spoke in opposition during Wednesday’s hearing.
