Evidently, yes!  That’s no way to start a Monday morning!   A beer truck plowed into a tree near the Liquor Emporium at K and 7th uprooting it causing it to topple over.

The City of Boston was notified of incident and the Parks Department will remove the tree.  Hopefully a new one will be planted in its place.

From someone on the scene, the driver of the truck was over heard stating he “barely touched it.  Well, maybe a little bit.

Luckily, no beer was injured during this incident!

That’s too bad. Trees that size in Southie are pretty rare these days.

    Oh, no!

That’s incredible! How on earth did the beer truck managed to not only ram into the tree, but to totally uproot it and cause it to topple over, especially a tree of that size and height? The truck must’ve been going at a pretty good clip in order for that to happen. Hope the driver wasn’t hurt.
