Around 8:30pm on Monday, BFD evacuated a building at 141 West Second (the old Dirigo Spice Building) due to fumes. A hazmat team from BFD was on scene to ventilate the building and find the source of the fumes.
Eventually, the source was discovered and the air quality was back to normal and residents could return to the building.
