We are sad to report that the Harry McDonough Sailing Center will not be opening for the 2020 season.  A post was made on Facebook announcing the decision:

We at the HMSC have been hopeful these last few months that we would be able to open for the 2020 season. Unfortunately, after reviewing the guidelines set forth by the state, we are unable to comply and will not be able to open this year. We will be performing maintenance and repairs this season and doing our best to make sure we have an amazing summer in 2021. Please stay safe and we hope you have a great summer.

The Harry McDonough Sailing Center normally provides a free summer sailing program keeps over 100 local youths busy for the summer in addition to employing local teens as instructors.  Fingers crossed this beloved program will be back next year!
