Group of kids cause hijinks on the Red Line
by using PA system to shout out obscenities
The Boston Globe is reporting that a group of juveniles entered a motorman’s cab on a Red Line train at Andrew Station on Tuesday and used the public address system to make obscene announcements.
According to transit police, all parties involved were identified and “we have taken appropriate action in the matter.”
Now if we could only get the transcripts of what was actually said over the PA system…

Probably recorded.
I wonder if this was the same group of 4 who last week riding from Ashmont to JFK did the same thing and then to top it all off one of the boys (there were 2 females in this group as well) decided to kick out the window on the train as a farewell
In the 60’s, kids used to go to customer service at Bradlees on Morrissey and ask the typically elderly woman working to page their friend on the PA. Most frequently it was Dick Hertz from Holden. Occasionally it was Mike Hunt. Those who survived the Viet Nam War, are now either BPD or BFD, and strict parents.
