Goodbye, “Imagine,” your days are numbered on Carson Beach

Nearly two months ago, a boat named “Imagine” washed ashore on Carson Beach. The boat was on the move for quite some time, washing up near Deer Island, on the other side of Castle Island, and then landing where it currently sits.
We’re sure you’ve seen it in your social media feeds. Anyway, Senator Nick Collins posted on Instagram on Wednesday that Friday would be the day, Imagine leaves our shores. The high tide on Friday at 4 am will help pull this craft back out to sea and back to Plymouth, where it belongs.

Special thank you to @neilawinston for the photo of Imagine. And for the good people at DCR who are hauling this off our beach.

What about the car at Columbia Rd and Day Blvd. Why hasn’t it been towed yet ?????!?
Most likely waiting for an Insurance adjuster
it is not a ship… it is a BOAT…SAILBOAT…WHERE DID YOU GROW UP ?
I grew up in South Boston, and I called it a boat.
…cut the ship.
Thanks Nick. I had that boat rented as an airbnb to a group of foreign rubes for the world cup games. Now I have to give the money back, if they can find me.
