Whether you’re new to the neighborhood or have lived here your whole life, you know that parking is a premium in this neighborhood. So if you park like a jerk – you know take up two spots or with your ass hanging out into the street – your neighbors take notice.
Case in point. This Jeep on Vinton Street in above photo.
The owner received this note on the windshield.
And then these notes plus a parking ticket. Even BFD had trouble getting by it on Saturday.
From one neighbor on the block, the Jeep owner did see the notes and the ticket and removed them…but still kept the Jeep parked like that. To the Jeep owner – Nobody likes a jerk. Do better. Be a better neighbor.

Honestly don’t understand why you think this person parked inappropriately. Is there some Southie rule book newbies can buy to comprehend your secret handshake rules, Those notes were disgusting, People should be arrested for leaving personal threats. Cant we all just listen to President Biden & be kind to one another- maybe if we all used bikes instead of combustible engines we could all get along.
This is a small one way street and the car is parked quite far away from curb making it difficult for larger cars and emergency vehicles to pass by. It also makes it difficult for others to park behind or across from this car, in a place where parking is extremely difficult to begin with. Furthermore, there was not one single “personal threat” in any of those notes.

Pruning shears applied to the valve stems deliver a good message, and don’t do much damage. Try that next time. Parking like a jackass has nothing to do with not knowing the “local” rules. The same rules apply everywhere, except perhaps in places where they don’t have sidewalks. Even in those places, you park the truck off the roadway.
I don’t understand why you try to shame someone but hide their plates. Kinda makes you an asshole too.

Almost 50 years ago I knew of a jerk that parked like that. I also know of another, some would say jerk that provided the courtesy of moving the jerks car to the Greenie and left there. Later to be found in a seriously burned condition. There happened to be a thunder storm passing through, and lightning. Just a lot of jerks running around. Hey, what about the project story huh? I think almost 50 years ago those jerks would have been dealt with by some other jerks. Times have changed and not for the better.
