The family of Colin Thomas McGrath, the little boy who was killed on Wednesday after a van struck his stroller at L and 6th, has released a statement through Boston Police asking for privacy.
“The members of the McGrath family would like to express our deepest appreciation for the outpouring of sympathy, compassion and support we have received these past few difficult days.” The family also asked “ . . . please respect our family’s need for privacy and give us the space and time we need to begin what we know will be a long healing process.”
Colin’s 4-year-old sister was also injured in the crash but is expected to be okay.
