According to the Boston Globe, two off-duty police officers stopped a suspect who tried to rob Three D’s Variety Store at the corner of E and Sixth on Wednesday. 

After the off-duty office witnessed Colm Pierce, 23, from South Boston struggling with a victim at 249 E Street around 4:30pm.
