I moved out of Southie, about 18 years ago, before all of you yuppies & millennials came in and ruined the place! I was there about 5 years ago and I barely recognized the place!! Everything is condos and foreigners! I felt like a stranger in my hometown!
Well, sir. Things evolve and change. It’s not your grandparents’ South Boston any longer. The secret is out.
Everyone rails against the progress that made South Boston a thriving town when it was a low income bleep hole growing up there. Our old town wasn’t ruined it was saved.Old pictures from South Boston look like Harlem NY.
Keep up the good work!
