Downtown is Dangerous – three teens arrested for beating up a man on Washington Street
From BPD News:
At about 8:17 PM, on Monday, August 14, 2023, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) arrested two 14-year-old juvenile males, and a 15-year-old juvenile male after an Assault and Battery incident.
Officers responded to the area of 375 Washington Street for a report of an Assault and Battery in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a victim being treated by Boston EMS for multiple bruises, and lacerations. The victim was treated on scene and declined further medical evaluation.
Officers were advised that the victim was randomly attacked by a group of juveniles. Officers were provided descriptions of the involved suspects, and observed one of the suspects traveling towards them on a blue bike.
As officers attempted to stop the suspect, he dismounted from the blue bike and pushed it at officers. The suspect fled from officers and a foot pursuit ensued. Officers were able to catch up to the suspect and place him into handcuffs.
Other officers were able to stop two more juvenile suspects who were involved in the assault. They were placed into handcuffs without incident.
All three juvenile males were charged with; Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Shod foot), and Affray. They are expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.

We’re not getting the full story! These little rug rats have been terrorizing Downtown for years and getting away with it. No comments from the City Council, shame on them.
