10 to 15 DRUNKS being LOUD and OBNOXIOUS.. thank God nobody is seriously hurt..these “DECK PARTIES” must be kept under wraps..many neighbors I’ve talked to lately are getting FED UP with these out of town suburban “IMPORTS” with their loud LATE NIGHT booze induced annoying, disresrespecfull party (s)..

Given the amount of these kind of parties that occur around here, I’m surprised this hasn’t happened more often.
I’m glad nobody was seriously hurt.

Don’t seem to see any joist hangers. Another great Southie condo conversion, and another great job by ISD. Check out who designed this project.

PS: did the carpetbaggers who bought this unit get a home inspection

This could have been a lot worse; glad no one was seriously injured or, God forbid, killed. These small decks just aren’t meant for large parties.

Jimmy, looks like the joists were running left to right, i see the hangers, this being said this structure was clearly overloaded, 15 people on a small deck like that is too many people, especially if its older and people were jumping around. it was probably designed for like 6 people

That deck looks like it was not only very poorly planned, designed and constructed, but it also looked like it was made of not very strong wood, either, plus it was too small for a large party of 10-15 people.

Moreover, that deck looks like it was made of some really cheap, flimsy material, to boot.
