DCR Traffic & Parking Advisory: William J. Day Boulevard in Boston
Parking Advisory
On Sunday, April 28, 2019, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement a road closure along William J. Day Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Kosciuszko Circle to Farragut Road in the City of Boston from 7:30AM to 9:30AM to accommodate the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation Race for Research. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked and a police detail will be on site.
Additionally, parking will be prohibited along William J. Day Boulevard between Kosciuszko Circle and Farragut Road from Saturday, April 27, 2019 starting at 10:00PM to 10:00AM on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Temporary overnight parking for residents with a valid City of Boston South Boston Resident Parking Sticker will be provided at the angled parking spots located between Shore Road and the Castle Island parking lot beginning at 6:00PM on Saturday, April 27, 2019. This temporary parking area will be staffed and vehicles will be checked for resident parking stickers.
