On Saturday, September 7, 2019 and Sunday, September 8, 2019, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close William J. Day Boulevard between I Street and Farragut Road in South Boston from 10:00PM to 11:30AM to accommodate the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition 5K Race. Parking restrictions will also be in effect during this time. Traffic routes will be clearly marked and a police detail will be on site. Temporary overnight parking for residents with a valid City of Boston South Boston Resident Parking Sticker will be provided at the angled parking spots located between Shore Road and the Castle Island parking lot.
