This will be a rolling project – meaning the whole sidewalk will not be shut down at once.
Beginning on Monday, March 25, 2024, and continuing through Friday, May 31, 2024, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement a parking ban and sidewalk closure along Old Colony Avenue to the Preble Circle rotary (work will be between 460 Old Colony Ave and Preble Circle.) in the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to accommodate sidewalk reconstruction work. Work may take place on Saturdays, but the parking ban will be in effect Monday through Friday.
Pedestrians should use the western sidewalk throughout construction.
WHERE: Old Colony Avenue to the Preble Circle rotary in the City of Boston
WHEN: Monday, March 25, 2024 – Friday, May 31, 2024 – 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
