DCR Traffic Advisory: Morrissey Boulevard Potentially Closed due to High Tides
Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Thursday, November 14, 2024, and continuing through Monday, November 18, 2024. Anticipated high tide times are as follows:
- Thursday, November 14, 2024, 9:09 a.m.
- Friday, November 15, 2024, 9:59 a.m.
- Saturday, November 16, 2024, 10:49 a.m.
- Sunday, November 17, 2024, 11:38 a.m.
- Monday, November 18, 2024, 12:29 p.m.
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on site as needed if the off ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.
