DCR Traffic Advisory: Morrissey Boulevard Potential Lane/Road Closures March 9th – 14th
Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (both directions) from Freeport Street to Bianculli Boulevard at UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Saturday March 9, 2024, and continuing through
Thursday March 14, 2024.
Anticipated high tide times are as follows:
- Saturday, March 9, 2024, 9:59 a.m.
- Sunday, March 10, 2024, 11:51 a.m.
- Monday, March 11, 2024, 12:42 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 12, 2024, 1:07 a.m. & 1:33 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 1:55 a.m.
- Thursday, March 14, 2024, 2:43 a.m.
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on site as needed if the off ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.
